COURSE COST: $1,650 AUD (GST FREE)

Incorporates 5 units of competency:

UEENEEM080A - Report on the integrity of explosion-protected equipment in a hazardous area
UEENEEM031A - Overhaul and repair of explosion-protected equipment - coal mining
UEENEEM032A - Overhaul and repair of explosion-protected equipment - flameproof
UEENEEM033A - Overhaul and repair of explosion-protected equipment - gas atmospheres
UEENEEM034A - Overhaul and repair of explosion-protected equipment - dust atmospheres

The course is for those required to undertake the Repair and Overhaul of Electrical Equipment for explosive atmospheres, examples:

This course is aligned to requirements of AS/NZS 3800 Overhaul & Repair - Electrical equipment for explosive atmospheres - Repair and overhaul. Appendix “B” Knowledge, Skills and Competencies of ‘Responsible Persons’ and ‘Operatives’.

The course is intended for Electricians and Electrical Engineers to understand their requirements for the Overhaul & Repair of Hazardous Areas equipment. Theory and practical components have an emphasis on Overhaul and repair of explosion-protected equipment.
